Thelma O. Jasper, 87, of Smithfield died Wednesday February 13, 2019 at Trinity West Steubenville. She was born April 9, 1931 in Colerain, a daughter of the late Brady and Ruby (Tanner) Conner.

She was a member of the Friends Church in Mt. Pleasant, and a housewife.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Frank "Vic" Jasper in 2009, son Victor L. Jasper in 1993, a grandson Jeremy Jasper in 2008, and her sister-in-law Jackie Conner.

Thelma is survived by her children Rick (Betty Ann) Jasper of Harrisville, Vicki (Barry) Vargo of Smithfield, and Annalisa (Todd) Hixson of Cadiz, six grandchildren, Barry (Courtney) Vargo Jr., Stevan (Wendy) Vargo, Ricky (Tanya) Jasper, Nicole Jasper, Kaityln Jasper, and Kristyn Jasper, three great grandchildren Jacob Hejduk, Cillian Jasper, Conor Jasper, a great granddaughter baby Vargo, and a brother Brady (Sue) Conner of Bridgeport.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 154 Second St. Dillonvale on Saturday February 16, 2019 from 2-8 pm, services will be held on Sunday 2 pm with Pastor Matt Close officiating, interment in Short creek Cemetery, Emerson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hounds Haven, 22 Township Road Dillonvale, Ohio 43917.
