Thelma E. (Escott) Bashore, 78, of Martins Ferry, OH died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV. She was born Mar. 12, 1937 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Kenneth and Sylvia (Gibbons) Escott. She was founder of Bashore Draperies, Martins Ferry. Thelma was a member of the Harbor of Hope Church, St. Clairsville, OH. Surviving are her husband Don Bashore, children; Dawn (Pedro) Zamora of Columbus, OH and Suzanne (Henry) Wojtasek of Colerain, OH, brothers; Kenneth ( Penny) Escott of Washington, PA and Mickey (Sandy) Escott of Tampa, FL, sisters; Suzanne Escott of Martins Ferry and Vera Escott of Dayton, OH, and grandchildren; Jessica Wojtasek, Christine Wojtasek, Louie Zamora and Sylvia Zamora all of Columbus, OH. Private services were held by the family. Burial at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Liza's Place, Valley Hospice, 308 Mt.
