Thelma Irene Melnick, 87, of Bridgeport Ohio passed away Thursday May 12, 2016 at Forrest Hills. She was born April 3rd, 1929 a daughter of the late Ross and Leona Snodgrass Birch. She was a secretary for Ohio Valley Dance Academy. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers. She is survived by her husband, Fred Melnick; daughters, Jaynee (Ralph) Capps, and Judie Melnick; 2 sons Fred (Sharon) Melnick and Mike (Bridgette Holler) Melnick; 3 Grandchildren, Phil (Stephanie) Sauvageot, Tina Sauvageot and Nicole; 3 Great Grandsons, P.J., Carson and Roman Sauvageot; a step-grandson, Chris Capps; and a brother George Birch. Friends will be received Sunday May 15th from 2-4 and 6-8 at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912 where funeral services will be held Monday May 16th at 11 AM.
