Theodora A. "Teddy" Barath, 78 of Barton died Friday August 5, 2016 at OSU Medical Center Columbus. She was born February 4, 1938 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Nemeth) Minnozzi. She was a retired employee from Belmont County Committee on Aging and Job and Family Service. She was an employee of Ideal Provision Martins Ferry, she was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church Colerain. She was a social member of the Barton Fire Dept., and one of the founding Trustees of the St. Clairsville High Scholl Alumni Committee. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband William M. "Pickles" Barath Sr. and a son J.J. Barath. Teddy is survived by her children Beverly (Mark) Chillog of Barton, Patricia (Randy Wallace) Barath of Barton, William (Delvon) Barath of Maynard, and Dean M. (Carrie) Barath of Bridgeport, a sister Shirley Minnozzi of St. Clairsville, 16 grandchildren, and 25 great Grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Monday August 8, 2016 from 1-8 pm, Barton Fire Dept. services will be at 7 pm, and wake services will be recited on Monday at 3 pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church Colerain, with Fr. Tom Chillog as Celebrant, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
