Theresa L. (Konyha) Perez, 74, of Glenhurst Terrace, Martins Ferry, OH died Sunday, Mar. 30, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Apr. 20, 1933 in Gaylord, OH a daughter of the late Leslie and Minnie (Allen) Konyha. She was retired from the Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire, OH. Theresa was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry where she served on the Funeral Luncheon Committee. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Albert E. Perez and a brother Andrew Joseph Konyha. Surviving are a son Frank Perez of Martins Ferry, three daughters Linda (Scott) Friend of Bellaire, Alberta (Robert) Brown and Kathy Fletcher both of Martins Ferry, a sister Shirley (Michael Fred) Hertler of Dillonvale, OH, four grandchildren George A. Stan, Christopher Stan, Heather Stefan and Jessica Adkins, four great grandchildren George J., Devon, Caleb and Peyton Stan, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Apr. 2, 2008 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry with Rev. Thomas A. Magary officiating. Burial follows in St. Mary's Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Wake services will be recited Tuesday at 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
