Thomas A. Absalom, 80, of Ferryview, Martins Ferry, OH, died Tuesday, Mar. 26, 2013 at his residence.. He was born Apr. 14, 1932 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Edmund and Geneva H. (Poulain) Absalom. He was retired from Nickles Bakery of Martins Ferry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Charles Absalom and a sister Jean Gwinn. Surviving are his wife of 58 years Gloria K. (Kepreos) Absalom, two sons; Thomas G. Absalom of Martins Ferry and David A. (Cherie) Absalom of Cincinnati, OH, a brother, Edmund T. (Nadine) Absalom of Martins Ferry and three grandchildren; Sean, Stephanie and Sonny Absalom. Friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm, where services will be held Friday, March 29, 2013 at 10:00 am with Minister Rod Kasler officiating.
