Thomas (Tom) E. Brill, 59, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Cleveland Clinic, with his family by his side. He was born May 13, 1953, in Barnesville, Ohio, son of the late Charles E. and Mildred M. (Bailey) Brill.
Tom was a member of Sandy Ridge Church of Christ. He was a retired coal miner with Ohio Valley Coal #6. He was an avid John Deere lover. He loved his Buckeyes, Packers, and the outdoors.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Wanda E. Brill of Barnesville, Ohio; one son, Duane (Dawnell) Carpenter of Belmont, Ohio; two daughters, Kristie (Walt) Garrison of Belmont, Ohio and Melissa (Chad) Britton of Barnesville, Ohio; brothers, Ralph (Alma) Brill of Freeport, Ohio, Gene Brill of Lafferty, Ohio, Fred (Connie) Brill of Barnesville, Ohio; sister, Barb (Kenny) Stephen of Barnesville, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Calob, Hannah, Laklynn, and Alan Carpenter, Megan and Derick Garrison, Nicholde and Jennifer Farson, and Johothan Carpenter; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to visit, Friday 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 12 noon until the time of service at 1 p.m., at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Evangelist Gale Yoho will be officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
The family welcomes everyone to wear their John Deere attire to the visitation.
