Thomas Q. Cresap, Sr., 77, of S. Third St., formerly of Ohio Ave., Martins Ferry, OH. died May 22, 2007 at home. He was born Jan. 8, 1930 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Charles and Lena (Neidermeyer) Cresap. He was a retired policeman of the Wheeling Police Department and a retired Pastor of the Church of the Nazarene of Martins Ferry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Charles Cresap. Surviving are his wife Doreen (Miller) Cresap, a son Thomas (Debbie) Cresap, Jr. , and a daughter Cindy Savarino all of Wheeling, WV, four grandchildren Christy Aubrey, Holly Savarino, Chris and Michelle Wysong, two step grandchildren Libbi Sleeth and Dawn Barcus, and five great grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday May 25, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mike Kimball and Rev. Dennis Hancock officiating. Burial follows in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling WV. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Nazarene, 709 Broadway St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
