Thomas William Dolence Sr. 89, of Martins Ferry passed away Sunday February 16, 2025, at Park Health Center St. Clairsville, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 16, 1935, in Martins Ferry, a son of the late John and Yohana (Zigman) Dolence.

Tom was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel co, Yorkville Plant, a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church Harrisville, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia (Smigle) Dolence in 2000, and a brother Matthew Dolence.

He is survived by his children Debra (Gary) Zeroski, and Linda (Greg) Owens both of Adena, Thomas (Starla) Dolence Jr of Belleville, TX, and John (Holly) Dolence of Groveport, Oh, ten grandchildren Christopher (Jordan) Owens, Ashley (Derrick) Sproul, Brian (Sydney) Zeroski, Rachel (Mario) Piergallini, Rebecca (Bobby) Shugert, Dylan Deem, Tommy ,Patty, Keith, and  Alaina Dolence, seven great grandchildren Ariel, Natalie, Avi, Brielle, Valerie, Breece, and Liv.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home-Heslop Chapel 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry on Wednesday February 19, 2025, from 3 till 8 pm, services will be held on Thursday at 11 am with Rev. Barry Hall officiating, interment in Upland Cemetery Yorkville.
