Thomas Stanley Eddy, Sr. 83, of Mingo Junction died Saturday May 24, 2008 at Trinity West Medical Center. He was born June 16, 1924, a son of the late Orville and Clara Eddy. Tom was a member of the Mingo Senior Citizens and was employed by Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel as a millwright. In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Eddy; a son, Curtis J. Howell; two brothers, Charles and Robert Eddy; two sisters, Anna Mae Shuma and Grace Morris. Tom is survived by two sons, Thomas S. Eddy Jr. and his wife Patty of Richmond. James O. Eddy Sr. of Mingo Junction; two daughters, Charmane Stromyer and her husband Thomas of Mingo Junction, Bonnie Lash and her husband George of Mingo Junction; two brothers, John Eddy of Alabama, Benjamin Eddy and his wife Joyce of Steubenville; a sister Mary Alice Land of Florida; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home 115 Union Ave., Mingo Junction, Ohio where a funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Tommy J. Mills officiating. Interment to follow at New Alexandria Cemetery.
