Thomas W. Edmundson, 90, of N. Fourth St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sun., Dec. 5, 2004 at home. He was born May 4, 1914 in Bridgeport, OH a son of the late Thomas W. and Elizabeth (Hildebrand) Edmundson. He was retired from Ernies Auto Parts of Martins Ferry. Tom was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and past Exalted Ruler of Elk's Lodge #895 both of Martins Ferry. He was also a member of Bridgeport Lodge #181 F. & A. M., Bridgeport Chapter #452 O.E.S., and Eagles Aerie #995 of Bridgeport. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lavern (Bristow) Edmundson, a son Charles Edmundson, a grandson Thom Edmundson, a great granddaughter Jazmyn Edmundson, a brother Orville Edmundson, and three sisters Georgeanne Greenwell, Mary Ellen Robinson, and June Wacker. Surviving are two sons Thomas (Vicki) Edmundson of Dayton and Bob (B. L.) Edmundson of Wheeling, a daughter Charlene (Don) Veloski of Martins Ferry, a sister Florence Leach of Bridgeport, eight grandchildren: Claudine Randall, Charles Edmundson, Jr., Douglass Edmundson, Denise Duncan, Stacey Robertson, Megan Pacheco, and Katie and Rachel Edmundson, eleven great grandchildren. Friends will be received Fri. 4-8 PM and Sat., Dec. 11, 2004 from 11 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM with Pastor Frank Fitch officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Masonic Ritualistic Services will be held Friday at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
