Thomas Eugene Foster, 83, of Barnesville, OH passed away suddenly at his home on November 8, 2022.  He was born on April 30, 1939, a son to the late Clarence and Violet (Long) Foster.

Tom was a master of all trades and loved his family dearly.  He was a retired maintenance man from Colgate-Palmolive.  He enjoyed woodworking, welding, electronics, fishing, and roasting whole chickens for his family.  He was a retired veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Quaker City Baptist Church.  He was a kind man that everyone will miss.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine (Walls) Foster; a daughter, Cynthia McCormick; a daughter-in-law, Lori Foster; a grandson, Ryan Lashley; and a great-grandson, Jeremiah Foster.

Tom was survived by daughter, Rebecca (Gerry) Shaffer; son, Jay Foster; son-in-law Clarence McCormick; grandchildren, Jennifer, Janelle, Kayla, Jay C, and Gerrod; and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends and Family may visit on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 4pm-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, Barnesville Chapel, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713.  The memorial service will begin at 8pm with Pastor Larry Jellison.  Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
