Thomas H. Williams, 82, of Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born Feb. 4, 1927 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Thomas D. and Mary (Green) Williams. He was the retired owner/operator of Williams S S Maintenance of Martins Ferry. Tom was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Past Master of Ohio City Lodge #486 F. & A. M. both of Martins Ferry, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Navy, WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Thomas P. Williams, a daughter Mary Martha Williams, and a sister Shirley G. Adams. Surviving are his wife Dolores W. (Hartmann) Williams, two sons Marty (Thelma) Williams of Tucson, AZ, and Doug Williams of Marysville, OH, three daughters Robin (Bob) Janiszewski of Martins Ferry, Holly (Mike) Hand of Las Vegas, NV, and Lori (Bob) Larson of Port Angeles, WA, a brother Jack (Barbara) Williams of Norwood, MA, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday 12-3 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Monday, July 13, 2009 at 11:00 am with Pastor Philip K. Van Dam officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH. Masonic Ritualistic services will be held Sunday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
