Thomas E. "Spider" Jackson, 59, of N. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, OH died Sat., Sept. 2, 2006 at Allegheny Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born Aug. 20, 1947 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Robert E. and Nettie (Guinn) Jackson. Spider was employed with Laborers' International Union # 1149 of Wheeling. He was a member of the Redman Club and the former V.F.W. Post #3613 both of Martins Ferry and a veteran of the U.S. Army Vietnam. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Robert C. Jackson. Surviving are two brothers Allen and James Jackson, two sisters Elizabeth Ray and Mary Jackson, all of Martins Ferry, and his companion Pamela Reynolds who was at his side at his time of passing. Friends will be received Thurs., 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Fri., Sept. 8, 2006 at 10:00 AM with Rev. James Agnew, III officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH. Full military graveside services will be held by the Belmont Co. Council of the V.F.W.
