Thomas G. Kelly Sr.,88 formerly of Martins Ferry passed away surrounded by his loving children on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the Beacon House in St. Clairsville. He was born in Martins Ferry August 26, 1933, the son of the late Peter L. and Julia (Czapp) Kelly.

He was retired from Tri-State Machine, Inc. as a machinist, a veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean conflict, a member of the American Legion Post 3613-Martins Ferry and St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret (Marge) Kelly in 1997, granddaughter Chelsey Raye Wilson, and brother John E. Kelly.

Tom is survived by his children Patricia (Terry) Morrison of St. Clairsville, Evelyn (Jerry) Wilson of Centerville, Thomas G. (Leslie) Kelly, Jr. of Martins Ferry and Todd (Lori) Kelly of Coleraine, grandchildren; Derek (Katie) Wilson, Darin (Tessa) Wilson, Shauna (Andrew) Poindexter, Kaylynn (Keven) Yates, Jason (Jamie) Cash, Chase Kelly, Jack Kelly and James Blazy and  great-grandchildren; Anderson, Jacob, Rylee, Kade, Skylar, Myla, Layla, Jadyn, and Josie complete the family.

Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all, he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received Wednesday, March 16, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 10am with Fr. Thomas Marut as celebrant, internment will be at Holly Memorial Garden, Pleasant Grove.
