LAWSON, Thomas Edward, 70, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Tuesday October 7, 2008 at the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, W.Va. He was born in Raven, VA on November 1, 1937, a son of the late Claude Edward and Mary Ann Hess Lawson. Thomas was a member of the Boiler Maker Union #154, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a protestant by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dale Lawson. Thomas is survived by his wife, Magdalene Rivera Lawson; a daughter Michele Lawson of Florida; a brother, Robert Lawson and his wife Jean of Dayton, Ohio; four sisters: Alma Collins and her husband Ray of Plant City, Fla., Wilma Young and her husband Jack of Raven, Va., Nadean Skeans and her husband John of Ky., Judy McCoy and her husband Robert of Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Friday October 10, 2008 at 11:00 with the Rev.
