Obituary

Thomas P. "Briggle" Lesnick, 76, of Bridgeport, OH passed away October 6, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital.

He was born April 23, 1943, in Bridgeport, OH, a son of the late Joseph and Viola (Trybuski) Lesnick.   Thomas was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, was a member of the Foresters Club in Bridgeport, and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Joey, sister, Ruth Biscan, stepdaughter, Jule Ann (Michael) Romick, and grandchildren, Chad Stein and Sean Romick.

Thomas is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Rose (DiClemente) Lesnick; children, Thomas (Angie) Lesnick, Lee Anne (Rob) Hill, Mary (Angie) Lesnick all of Texas; step-son, Charles (Eva) Stein of Proctor, WV; brother, Edward (Mary) Lesnick of St. Clairsville; sister, Dorothy Tierney of Martins Ferry; granddaughters, Katy (Nathan) Johnson, Shelby Hill; six step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Sunday, October 13, from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH with a vigil service being held at 2p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 68210 Neola Ave., Bridgeport, OH with Fr. John Mucha serving as celebrant.  Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 68210 Neola Ave., Bridgeport, OH 43912.
