Thomas McLaughlin Thomas McLaughlin, 85, of Brookside Dr., Brooklyn, OH formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., May 27, 2002 at the Holy Family Home, Parma. He was born Sept. 9, 1916 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Bernard and Mary Davidson McLaughlin. He was a retired custodian for the Temple, Cleveland, OH and a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy L. Hall McLaughlin, a daughter Mary Jane Smith, two brothers Bernard and James McLaughlin, and a sister Mary Ann Dayton. Surviving are two daughters Judy Reeder of Brooklyn and Diana Rash of Cleveland, two sisters Lillian Shook and her husband William of Shadyside and Anna McLaughlin of Martins Ferry, ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, Wed., May 29, 2002, 11 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM with Rev. Joseph Sanders officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Home, 6707 State Road, Parma, OH 44129.
