Thomas M. Orkish, 73, of Blaine -Chermont Road Bridgeport, died Monday June 22, 2015 at his home. He was born March 3, 1942 in Wheeling, a son of the late John and Helen B. (Pultorek) Orkish. He was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Mingo Plant, a Catholic by faith. He was a member of the Bridgeport Foresters, the Lansing Sportsman Club, the St. Clairsville Eagles, the American Legion St. Clairsville, and the Fairpoint Polish Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Joan M. (Miller) Orkish in 2009. Tom is survived by his second wife Betty (Crane) Scott Orkish, sons Thomas J. (Teri) Orkish of Dublin, OH., Matt (Shelley) Marshall of Lancaster, and Mitch Marshall, daughters Beverly (Wesley) Dobson of Lansing, Marcy Cochran of Bridgeport, and Jackie (Joe) Shinkosi of Fairpoint, grandchildren Michael and Morgan Marshall of Lansing, a brother John (Pat) Orkish of Fountain Valley, FL, and a sister Sylvia (Paul) McKee of Farmington Hills, MI. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Thursday June 25, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held on Friday at 1 pm with Pastor Kevin Rolland, interment in Linwood Cemetery Blaine.
