Thomas B. "Tommy" Simmons, 83 of Tiltonsville passed away Sunday February 11, 2024, at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry, he was born August 18, 1940, in Mingo Junction, a son of the late William A. Sr and Gladys (Hanlon) Simmons Ponti.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Loretta (McBride) Simmons, brothers Edward R. Conners, and Fredrick D. Conners.

He was retired from the Pacific Motor Trucking Company in California, a lifetime member of the Country Music Association in Nashville, a lifetime Base player, and a Veteran in the US Marines.

Tom is survived by his long-time loving campion, Loretta Smith, his brothers William A. Simmons Jr, of Mingo Junction and Robert J. (Patti) Simmons of Bridgeport, also several nieces and nephews.

According to Tom's wishes there will be no visitation and private interment will be held at the Cemetery of the Allegheny's in Southpoint, PA. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
