Thomas James Trainor, 88 of Martins Ferry passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 6, 2022, at his residence.  He was born April 20, 1933, in Wilkinsburg, PA the son of the late John and Helen (Metz) Trainor.

Tom was retired from the United Bank of Moundsville, WV, and a former State Farm Agent.  He was a devout member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry and a veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Jacinta (Zerla) Trainor, siblings; Mary Campbell, Margaret Pihony, Jack, George, Theodore, Frances, and Robert Trainor.

Tom is survived by his children, Paul Trainor, Cheryl (James, Jr.) Riggle of Bridgeport, Diane (William) Bickerstaff of Mingo Junction, Debra Kinkade of Columbus, and Christine (Thomas, Jr.) Bumbico of Martins Ferry, grandchildren, Emily, Caitlyn and Megan Bickerstaff and Jasmine Bumbico, as well as his twin brother Patrick Trainor of Pittsburgh, PA.

Services will be held later at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 20 North 4th St., Martins Ferry, Ohio, or the donor's choice.
