Thomas W. "Moose" Zurek Sr., 67, of Dillonvale, OH passed away April 10, 2017 at home. He was born October 30, 1949 in Dillonvale, a son of the late Joseph and Ruth Ann (Skatula) Zurek Sr. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Consol Energy, a member of the Dillonvale Eagles where he was past Deputy State President of District 6, and past Worthy President of Dillonvale Eagles Arie 1572, a member of Smithfield American Legion, and Dillonvale Fireman's Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Zurek, Jr. Thomas is survived by his children, Shari (Josh) Johnson of Florida, Thomas J. (Andrea) Zurek of North Carolina, Thomas W. Zurek Jr. of Kentucky, and Ashley (Brandon) Love of Kentucky; his brother, James (Sharon) Zurek of Dillonvale; four grandchildren; and companion Debbie Andrzejczyk of Dillonvale, OH. Friends will be received Thursday, April 13th from 1pm until 5pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 2nd St. Dillonvale, OH 43917. A service will be conducted by the Dillonvale Eagles at 4pm.
