Timothy A. Spencer, 65, of Barnesville, Ohio, formerly of New Windsor, Maryland passed away April 15, 2012 at his home. He was born November 15, 1946 in Summit, New Jersey, son of the late Tom Spencer and Mary Marino Spencer.
Tim was a test engineer in the neo-natal field. He was published and held several patents. He enjoyed fishing, writing, and painting. He acted in several movies and had done modeling for several men's magazines. Tim and his wife Barbara worked side by side for 38 years. His boxers, Remy, Maxi, and JJ Rocket were always by his side.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by adopted grandson, Kevin D. Smith; great-granddaughter, Lexi, both of Bethesda, Ohio; and his best friend, Maximillion.
Tim is survived by his wife, Barbara Spencer; daughter, Kim (Doug) Smith of Barnesville, Ohio; granddaughters, Johnna D. Lynn of Bethesda, Ohio and Cheyenne M. Smith of Barnesville, Ohio; and two great-grandsons, Cameron D. and Logan, both of Bethesda, Ohio.
Tim will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a very special man. It was Tim's wishes to be remembered as he was prior to his lengthy illness.
