Todd Anthony
Link
April 17, 1962 – May 31, 2025
Todd Anthony Link, age 63, beloved brother, uncle, great uncle and friend passed away in his home on May 31, 2025. Born on April 17th, 1962 Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Chuck" and Patricia "Pat" Link. A graduate of St. John Central High School, Todd later attended Kent State University and dedicated much of his life to working in education, with a special focus on supporting children with special needs. His deep care for others was evident throughout his professional life, his personal relationships and especially with his family.
Todd returned to the Ohio Valley in 2019, where he continued to be a compassionate presence in the lives of many. He volunteered at the Catholic Charities Neighborhood Center, the Soup Kitchen Greater Wheeling and sang in the church choir, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Todd is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Dr. Cynthia Link (Joe) Weinstein, Dr. Charles Link Jr. (Julia), Deborah Link (Darren Smith), Michelle Link (Tom) Smith, Patricia Link (Jim) Owen, and Jennifer Link (Shawn) Byers, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved him dearly.
Todd had a thoughtful soul and a gentle spirit. He was a devoted son and supported his mother with great love and care in her later years. An avid reader and film enthusiast, he found joy in art, a good joke, and long conversations.
As a valued member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bridgeport, Todd will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Todd bravely fought a long battle with mental illness, and it is heartbreaking that we speak of his loss, and while it is deeply painful to speak of it, we honor his memory by sharing this.
