Valerie Ann (Martin) Duck, 60 of Buena Vista Dr., Dillonvale went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the James Cancer Center in Columbus. She was born February 14, 1961, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, daughter of the late Ronald W. and Marlene J. (Lust) Martin. She was an angel of God who will never be forgotten.

Valerie was a RN and worked at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling, WV. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry.

Surviving are her husband and love of her life Howard A. Duck, children; Noah Duck of Dillonvale, Leah (Bret) Gunther of Columbus, Carissa Lohr of Newark, grandchildren; Savannah Gunther, Liberty and Anthony Lohr, sisters; Melody (Joe) DeFranco of Wheeling, Harmony (George) Misenhelder of Florida, brothers; Ward Martin of Mississippi, and Ronnie Martin of Florida.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 3-7pm at the Wilson Funeral Home - Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 10 am at the Funeral Home and burial to follow at Holly Memorial Garden, Pleasant Grove.
