Vearl "Whitey" Elerick Jr., 79 of Dillonvale, Ohio, passed suddenly on his birthday Saturday May 25,2013. He was born in Bannock, Ohio on May 25, 1934, a son of the late Vearl and Mary Dikant Elerick. He was a retired employee of ITW Steel and attended the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Pleasant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Sean Elerick and a brother Gerald Elerick. Vearl is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Patricia Paxton Elerick; daughters: Vicki (Roger) Baker of Mount Pleasant, and Joni (Morgan) Coast of St. Clairsville, Ohio; five grandchildren: Jacqui Sall, Derek Baker, Jon - Erik Gilot, Trey Elerick, Quintin Elerick; and three great-grandchildren: Kambel Sall, Kendal Sall, and Liliana Gilot. Friends will be received Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 29, 2013 with Rev.
