Verlyn V. Holt 98 of Bridgeport passed away Saturday December 4, 2021, at Johnstown Pointe Nursing Home Johnstown, Ohio. She was born October 28, 1923, in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Carl B. and Mary (Berry) Conway.

She was a retired employee of OVMC hospital with 33 years of service, a member of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, a graduate of Bridgeport High School Class of 1941. During WW II she worked in Air Force Command Office Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter O. Holt in 1983, her siblings Addison Conway, Carl Conway, and Delor Nevada.

Surviving is her brother Pete Conway of Bridgeport, a nephew Pete Nevada, two nieces Charlene Nevada, and Carla (Chuck) Miller.

According to Verly's wishes there will be no visitation and private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
