Veronica E. "Vernie" Davis (Kushner), 91, of Mingo Junction, died Wednesday November 4, 2009 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville. She was born May 23, 1918 in Glen Campbell, Pa, the daughter of the late Steve and Elizabeth Kushner. Vernie was a member of the Harmony United Methodist Church, Mingo Junction and the United Methodist Women. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard "Jake" Davis, two sisters, Margaret Yenchochic, Eleanor Singelis, four brothers, Elmer, Pete, Gaza, Tony Kushner, and two nieces. She is survived by a daughter Pam Crow and her husband Rick of Wheeling and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday 6-8 pm and Saturday from 9 till time of service at 11 am at Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home 115 Union Ave, Mingo Junction. Reverend Sam Davis will be officiating.
