Vickie Lynn Bowers, 59, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Friday October 20, 2017 at Ohio Valley Medical Center. She was born April 22, 1958, a daughter of Nancy Schramm Biehl and the late Bernard Thompson. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband Leonard T. Bowers Jr. on August 10, 2017. She was a former employee and member of Bridgeport Eagles and Foresters Club. Vickie is survived by her children: Leonard (Dee) Bowers, Josh (Kathy) Bowers and Lynette (Matt) Pearson; grandchildren: Brittiney, Lexi, Nick, Taylor, Becca, Karlee and Lilli, Leeah, great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Cruz and Cali, brothers: Bernie Thompson, Mark Thompson, Shawn Thompson, Shane Thompson, Joey Thompson; sisters: Crystal Vargo and Jessie Giesey. Friends will be received Tuesday October 24, 2017 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. James Hoff officiating. Interment will be private at the families convenience. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
