Violet M. Secrist, 89, of Colerain, OH, formerly of Clearwater, FL where she resided for 40 years, died February 7, 2018 at Autumn Health Care.  She was born February 14, 1928, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late William and Olive (Schnelle) Hackathorn.  Violet was a Christian and devout follower of the Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry in 1984, son, Dennis Secrist in 2004, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.  She is survived by her grandchildren, Matt Secrist, Jenny (Branden) Luna, Curt (Tammi) Secrist, and brother, Jack (Edith) Hackathorn.  Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH.  Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, Bridgeport, OH.  To offer online condolences please visit www.wilsonfuneralhomes.com.
