Violet C. Matusik Lafferty, 76, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Sunday July 29, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born in Blaine, Ohio on February 7, 1936, a daughter of the late Andrew and Katherine Mikolajczyk Matusik. Violet was a former employee of Chagrin Falls Exempted School System, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the CWC. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Helen Lucci, and brothers: Frank, John, Joe, Edward and Albert Matusik. Violet is survived by a son, Joe Toronski of Cleveland, Ohio; a stepson Russell Lafferty, and a sister Stella Perhay of Bridgeport. Friends are invited to celebrate a Memorial Mass on Saturday August 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, Ohio, with Rev. John Mucha, as celebrant.
