Violet Marie (Brykalski) Lenz 82 of Bridgeport died Monday December 19, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. She was born January 25, 1929 in Lansing, a daughter of the late Walter and Bella (Karwoski) Brykalski. She was a retired food service handler for Bridgeport School District a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Bridgeport, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and the PNA Lodge. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Edwin Lenz in 1999 four brothers Edward, Frank, Stanley, and Anthony Brykalski, a sister Helen Bochniak. Violet is survived by her sons;Warren (Nina) Lenz of Lansing, Ronald (Marianne) Lenz of Tiltonsville, and Benjamin (Sherry) Lenz of Bridgeport, sisters Stella Callarik of Brookside, and Mary Jane (Mike) Masessa of Mobile AL., a brother Walter (Evelyn) Brykalski of St. Clairsville, grandchildren; Chad (Stacy) Lenz, Jayme (Adam) Verslype, Joshua Lenz and his FiancAC.e Carmen Twyford, Justin, and Tyler Lenz, great grandsons; Xavier, and Kyle Lenz, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Wednesday from 12 noon till 8 pm, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 am at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Bridgeport with Fr. John Mucha officiating, interment in Linwood Cemetery Blaine. Wake service will be held Wednesday at 12:30 pm. at the Funeral Home followed at 4 pm with Rosary by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
