Violet L. Schneider Marple, 74, of Woodsfield, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Woodsfield Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Alledonia, Ohio on October 2, 1940, daughter of the late Edward and Berta Wade Schneider. She was a devoted Christian and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was retired from Dr. William Borchers, DDS, where she had worked as an office manager. Her faith being foremost in her life, she was restored to the Church of Christ April 2015. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Everett L. Marple on January 8, 2013; brothers, Robert and Franklin; sister, Edith; and step-brother, Arthur. Violet is survived by her son, Lawrence H. (Julia) Marple of South Charleston, Ohio; grandson, Joseph (Maggie) Berendt; great-granddaughter, Grace of Lansing, Michigan; special uncle, Lawrence (Babe) Rowson; sister-in-law, Virginia (Pat) Myers all of Bethesda, Ohio; brother, Harold (Wilda) Schneider of Woodsfield; sisters, Wilma (Larry) West of Jerusalem, Ohio and Mary (Bruce) Ady of Cambridge, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Charlie Leath, and Sandy Tritle both of Springfield, Ohio; and her beloved dog, Sandee. Family and friends will be welcome to visit, Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service beginning at 7 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 702 E.
