Violet S. Ellis Violet S. (Talarico) Ellis, 75, formerly of N. 6th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sun., Sept. 15, 2002 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born Feb. 7, 1927 in Westmoreland, PA a daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (Hercules) Talarico. She was Presbyterian. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Ellis, Sr., a son William L. Ellis, and two daughters Deborah Jackson and Maryon Perieck; and three sisters Eleanor Milhorn, Frances Hodgkiss and Margaret Yeager. Surviving are three sons James C. Ellis, Jr., and Robert Ellis and his wife Mary all of Martins Ferry, and Kenneth Ellis of Wheeling, WV; four daughters Violet Roskovich and her husband Fred of Rayland, OH, Barbara Burch and her husband John and Sandy Spinetti and her husband Bill all of Martins Ferry, and Rebecca Truax of Harrisville, OH; a brother Frank Talarico and a sister Virginia Burch both of Martins Ferry; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Friends will be received Tues. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wed., Sept. 18, 2002 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Van Fisher and Mark Carpino officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
