VIOLET M. WARNE, 83, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born June 19, 1924 in Ben Run, WV, the daughter of the late Oliver and Lexie Ankrom Beagle. Violet was a member of the Martins Ferry Church of the Nazarene. She was very active in the church, serving as Treasurer, Missionary President, church pianist and Bible School leader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Reverend Raymond Warne in 1994; five brothers and a sister. Violet is survived by a son Gerald Warne and his wife Patricia of Poland, OH; a daughter Darlene Duda and her husband Frank of Warsaw, OH; a brother Carlos Beagle of New Cumberland, WV and two granddaughters, Jennifer and Ashley Warne, both of Poland, OH. Visitation will be Friday 5 - 8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am with Reverend Michael Kimball officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
