Virginia F. "Nan" Baker, 79, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born August 11, 1935 in Smithfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Ralph Dewey Campbell and Dolly Mae Boggs Campbell.
Nan was a homemaker who was very family oriented, appreciating, loving and being devoted to each and every member of her family. Her grandchildren were priceless and she truly adored them. She enjoyed canning and gardening as well.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Baker; grandson, Dominic Tamborello; and sister, Dewella Borkoski.
Nan is survived by her daughter, Terri (Mark) McConnell; son, Chris Baker both of Barnesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Shane Wells, Josh Stephen, Christopher Baker; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise (Virgil) Hannahs and Judy Hayes; brothers, Charles (Gay) Campbell and Danny (Jacquie) Campbell all of Barnesville, Ohio; and her special companion, Peaches.
Family and friends are welcome to visit, Sunday from 3 p.m., until the time of service, beginning at 6 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home & Crematory, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Kevin Campbell
