Virginia L. Conaway, 67, of Bridgeport, OH died Tuesday, June 27th 2017 at home. She was born October 30, 1949, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Virginia L. Burch. Virginia was a cashier at the former C&M drive thru in Colerain, a bartender at the VFW in Colerain, and was a Catholic by faith. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Earl Burch, brother, Larry Moore, sister-in-law, Helen Holdaway, and brother-in-law, Ed Conaway. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Conaway; children, Kammy (James) Hall of Martins Ferry, Nick (Laleh) Pappas of New Jersey, Lisa (Tony) Hedrick of Columbus, Terri (Jeff) Mcdermott of Columbus; stepchildren, Michael Conaway of Bridgeport, Michelle Conaway of Bellaire; mother-in-law, Helen Conaway of Bridgeport; sisters, Lilian Davis, Joyce Czarnecki both of Martins Ferry, Diane Gamble of McMechan; brothers, Raymond Czarnecki of Martins Ferry, Earl Burch Jr. of Wheeling; brother-in-law, Butch (Betty) Conaway; grandchildren; Victoria Markle (Max Ratay) of Martins Ferry, Jalynn Conaway of Bridgeport, Kayla Hedrick of Florida, Krista Marincci of Columbus, Sean and Lyndsay Messina of Columbus; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday, June 30th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912 where funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1, at 11AM with Fr.
