Virginia W. (Harris) Bruey, 69, of Martins Ferry, OH died Nov. 7, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Apr. 21, 1942 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late William and Grace (Johnson) Harris. Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Bruey, three brothers Franklin, James, and Joseph, four sisters May, Grace, Mary Ellen, and Hazel. Surviving are a son George Bruey of Martins Ferry, a daughter Mary (Jeff) Rose of Astoria, OR, two sisters Shirley (Robert) Bell of Martins Ferry, and Sarah (Robert) Sears of Wheeling, WV, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, Nov.11, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev.
