Virginia Griffiths Virginia M. Helsley Griffiths, 82, of Ferryview Rd., Martins Ferry, OH, died Fri., Feb. 7, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Apr. 25, 1920 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Nathan and Mae Elizabeth Brocious Helsley. She was a Methodist by faith. Surviving are her husband William Clayton Griffiths, Jr., two sons William Griffiths, III and his wife Kathryn of Sunset Heights, and Nathan Lee Griffiths and his wife Karla of Colerain Pike, two daughters Carolyn Ross and her husband Gene of Midlothian, VA and Darlene Griffiths of Wheeling, WV, two brothers Harold and William Helsley both of Pittsburgh, a sister Helen Murphy of Oakmont, PA, twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry Sun. 12 - 3 & 7-9 PM where services will be held Mon. 11:00 AM with Rev. Van Fisher officiating. Entombment in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove.
