Virginia R. "Toots" (Betler) Jenkins, 80 of Colerain, OH died Tues., Feb. 27, 2007 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. She was born Sept. 5, 1926 in Barton, OH a daughter of the late Joseph P. and Ethel (Boros) Betler. Toots was a school bus driver for the Martins Ferry School District from 1968 to 1980. She was also a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Colerain, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Joseph P. Betler, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Gene Jenkins, whom she married Jan. 25, 1947 in Our Lady of Angels Church of Barton, two sons Gary E. (Sherry) Jenkins of Mason, OH and Larry A. "Butch" (Debbie) Jenkins of Dublin, OH, and four grandchildren Shannon, Erin, Justin and Courtney Jenkins. Friends will be received Thurs., 2-4 & 6-8PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Fri., Mar. 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Thomas A.
