Virginia Mae Potnick, 97, of Lansing died Monday September 28, 2015 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. She was born May 3, 1918 in Bridgeport, a daughter of Christine C. (Strauss) Prince. She was a retired Deputy Clerk for the Belmont County Clerk of Courts, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, the CWC of the Church, the Catholic Daughters, the Court of St. Anthony, the SNPJ Lodge, and the KSKJ Lodge. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband Henry F. Potnick in 2010. Virginia is survived by her two sons Mark (Jan) Potnick of Pataskala, OH, and Martin H.(Kathy) Potnick of State Line NV, a daughter Vida M. Andrews of Springfield, VA, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial for Virginia on Saturday October 3, 2015 at 11:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, with Fr. John Mucha as celebrant, interment in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery Blaine.
