Virginia L. (Staats) Gasaway, 85, of Indiana St., Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born Jan. 19, 1922 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Helen V. (Brown) Staats Pitner and Raymond E. Staats. Virginia was a member of the First Christian Church of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roland V. Gasaway. Surviving are a brother Norman Staats and a sister Jane Boron both of Canton, OH. Family and friends will be received Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, from 11am until time of services at 12 noon with Minister Bill Fulton officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH.
