Virginia L. Suckel, 77, of Martins Ferry, OH died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV. She was born Sept. 17, 1933 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Linn) Suckel. She was retired from the Euclid Public School System where she taught Elementary School for 10 years and was a Principal for 20 years. Virginia was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and Kent State with a Master plus degree in Education. Surviving are her good friends Ryan Hunker and his fiancee Michelle Wodesky and Robert and Patricia Hunker all of Martins Ferry, OH. Private graveside services were held at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH with Rev. Larry Lewis officiating.
