Virginia M. Sullivan, 87, of Belmont, Ohio passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at her daughter's home in Belmont, Ohio. She was born April 25, 1924 in Caldwell, Ohio, daughter of the late Benjamin Green and Lilie Rymer Green.
Virginia was a Christian and an organist at many local churches for over 60 years. She was a retired librarian from Bethesda Public Library.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis Powell and second husband, James Blair Sullivan; son, Richard Powell and his wife, Pearl; and sisters, Ruth and Martha.
Virginia is survived by daughters, Diana (Fred) Polinski of Barnesville, Ohio, Brenda (Harold) Jenkins of Una, South Carolina, and Ginger (Terry) Kemp of Belmont, Ohio; son, Byron (Jane) Powell of Bethesda, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Mary; and brothers, Benjamin, Roy, and James.
At Virginia's request, services and burial will be at the convenience of her family.
