Walter D. Green, 86 of St. Clairsville, OH died Thursday August 8, 2013 at his home. He was born August 23, 1926 in Bridgeport, OH to the late Donald and Gladys (Butler) Green. Walter was retired from Wheeling Machine Products/Joy Manufacturing. In retirement he was a school bus driver for Bridgeport School District. Walter was also an Army Veteran in WWII from 1945-1947. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Orvilla R. (Moreland) Green. Daughters Linda (David) Vaughan Lansdowne, VA, Diane Green of the home, and Barbara (Victor) Freeman, Glen Burnie, MD. Grandchildren Amy (Robert) Gage, Yorktown, VA and Donald (Christina) Vaughan, Burke, VA. Great grandchildren Sarah Gage, Audrey Gage and Emma Vaughan. Sisters Matilda Kruslyak, Katherine Winland and Gladys Jean Dierkes. According to Walter's wishes there will be no visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
