KENSICKI, Walter "Butch" J., 79, of Dillonvale, Ohio, died Thursday December 11, 2008 at Trinity East, Steubenville, Ohio. He was born in Dillonvale, on September 12, 1929, a son of the late Vincent J. and Stella Liszeski Kensicki. Walter was an employee of Hughes Aircraft Co. in Tucson, AZ. After 35 years of service, he returned to his beloved Ohio Valley. He was a former Vice President of the Arizona Polish Club; an avid Polka Dancer; and attended St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Walt is survived by Ruth Barbai Kensicki; a son: Vincent Kensicki of Tucson, AZ.; two daughters: Jody Kensicki of Kenai, AK. And Linnet Friedman of Tucson, AZ., a sister Betty Van Beneden of Wheeling, W.Va., a brother: Joseph Kensicki of Bedford, Ohio; two grandsons: Daniel and Clayton Friedman; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, where services will be held Monday December 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor John C. Kolesar, officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Leukemia and Lymphoma Cancer Research or Valley Hospice.
