Walter, "Mike" Maleski, 85, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Saturday, November 21, 2015 at his home, with his family by his side. He was born August 30, 1930 in Johnson City, Illinois, son of the late Paul Maleski and Mary Zaro Maleski. Mike, as he was to all, had a passion for animals, especially horses and dogs. He enjoyed long walks and was an extremely kind man, a true gentleman. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving in the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Alec, Tony, Henry, and Stanley Maleski. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Maryln Maleski of Barnesville, Ohio; daughter, Mary Johnson of Somerton, Ohio; son, Michael Maleski of Barnesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Marcus, Elijah, Raevyn, and Jake; and great-grandchildren, Jayson and Hunter. In honoring Mike's wishes, there will be no visitation. A private service and interment will be held at the convenience of his family.
