Markowski Walter, 84 of Colerain, died Saturday December 14, 2013 at Autumn Healthcare of Adena, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 6, 1936 in Dillonvale, a son of the late Matthew and Clementine (Trzyzudzki) Markowski. He was a retired foreman for Consolidated Coal Co. and a veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Helen D. (Williams) Markowski in 2012, he was the last of his siblings including Charlie, Felix, Stanley, Matthew, Betty, and Sadie. Walter is survived by his son Bob (Brenda) Markowski of Lancaster, Daughters: Debby (Paul) Romanyak of Pleasant Grove, and Sherry (Jerry) Beranek of Dillonvale, five grandchildren Tim and Ashley Markowski, Byron (Ashley) Romanyak, and Jerry and Amy Beranek, two great grandsons Gavyn and Dylan Romanyak. Friends will be received at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel on Friday December 20, 2013 from 11 am till time of service at 12 noon, with Msgr. John Kolesar officiating; Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family. At Walter's request there is to be no flowers.
