Walter John Ronevich, 87, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Sunset Heights, Ohio, went to his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday March 11, 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. He was born in Ramsey, Ohio on August 18, 1928, a son of the late Stanley and Elizabeth Ceculski Ronevich. He was a retired car inspector for Norfolk & Southern Railroad, volunteering at the Senior Citizens Center, Wheeling, a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church; Pine Valley Sportsmans Club American Legion, member of PNA Lodge; former Bridgeport Eagles and a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed going to polka dances, fishing and going on bus tours with his wife. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Stanley Ronevich Jr., a sister Hattie Dvorcek. Walter is survived by the love of his life Mary Jane (Koish) Ronevich; a brother Raymond Ronevich of Dillonvale, sisters: Anna Feher of Adena, OH, Dolores Candelaria of Los Angeles, Calif; cousins, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and friends. Friends will be received Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Wednesday March 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Schrader officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Offer online condolences at www.wilsonfuneralhomes.com
