Wanda May Young 88, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday December 9, 2014 at her home. She was born December 23, 1925 in Neville Island, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Phineas and Rose V. (Baker) Dawkins. She was a retired employee of the former IGA Grocery Store in Brookside, and Bridgeport Party Center, and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Brookside, the St. Clairsville Lady's Aux of the Eagles, and the Bellaire American Legion Aux. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Young in 1963, a daughter Brenda Sue Young, and a brother Ray E. Dawkins. Wanda is survived by her sons Thomas H. Young of Matins Ferry, Frank (Karen) Young, and Charles L. (Dee) both of Bridgeport, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Friday December 12, 2014 from 4-8 pm, where services will be held on Saturday at 10 am with Rev.
